At this time (November 9, 2021) WE CARE is accepting donations from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Saturday. Closed on Friday.
We will not be accepting donations after Tuesday November 23rd until Monday December 13th. We must have this time to prepare, set up and execute the large Christmas program that we have available for families that need assistance. Please work with us by holding your donations until December the 13th when normal hours will resume.
We are unable to accept the following items:
Cribs and car seats that do not meet current buyer standards
Gas-operated appliances
Built in trash compactors
Built in stoves and dishwashers
Tower Computers and printers
Waterbeds and sofa beds
Home recorded VCR tapes
Exercise equipment (stationary bicycles are the only exercise item that we do take)
We DO accept the following items:
Clothing of all sizes (all clothing may be on hangers or in bags)
Good, used and working refrigerators, electric stoves, freezers, washers and dryers
(PLEASE indicate on the item the working condition, especially if 220 information is needed regarding the item)
Jewelry
Purses
Household items
Laptops and monitors
New and gently used toys
Free standing appliances in good working order
Working televisions
Furniture
Tax Deductions:
Your donation is tax deductible, as allowed by tax laws. Please bring in an itemized list of your donations during office hours to receive a tax receipt. Items for a tax receipt must be received during regular office hours- Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:00 – 4:30 and Saturday 8:00 – 12:00.
